AUCTION:
Please bring an item to donate for the auction. Blacksmithing tools are sought after, as are pieces of your own work. You may donate items to up till the time of the auction. Blacksmith tool suppliers, Vendors and Tailgaters may donate an auction item to show their appreciation.
Colonel Tim Ryan will provide the entertainment after the Banquet by auction these pieces on Friday night at 6:30 pm.
This popular event always turns up interesting and beautiful handcrafted items. The auction is always one of the high points of the conference. Take advantage of this chance to pick up tools and handmade ironwork for your use and collection.
The Logo Grill made by the SBA members and a special Quilt made Jane Latsch by will be auctioned
On Saturday at 1:30 pm before the anvil shoot, the Demonstration Pieces made by the Featured Demonstrators plus any items donated on Saturday will be auction by Tim.
If you have never been to an auction by Tim you are in for some entertainment on Friday night!!!!

One man's junk is another man's treasure!
The Alabama Forge Council will have tickets for this fun event. All donations are greatly appreciated and there always surprises in this fundraiser. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00(a bargain). Tool Box & Bench Tire Hammer Raffles:
This is another favorite -- the AFC will offer a toolbox filled with blacksmith tools for raffle. Please bring a tool to contribute for the box. Check with Alan Kress for items needed.
John Wayne Taylor has made a half scale Tire Hammer that will also be raffled. These two items will be raffled after the auction on Saturday afternoon at about 2 pm. Must be present to win. Tickets are $1 each, 6 for $5, 25 for $20, 75 for $50 and the first hundred dollar bill will make Bill Richardson faint on the spot!
